Throughout this past spring and summer multiple in-coming recruits in the Iowa Lakes baseball program were named to the All-State and All-Conference lists within there perspective States and Divisions. The 2024 Lakers recruiting class is set to have 24 players joining the program coming from 8 differenst states along with 2 different countries. 9 future Lakers recieved post season awards including 3 All-State nominees from Boyd Jones and Jace Embry from Saydel High School (IA) as well as Ty Martin for Lander American Legion (WY).
Head Coach Chris Witzke had this to say about the incoming recruiting class. "It's great to see our incoming players honored in there respective leagues and states, it really highlights the level of talent we have joining the program from the greater Midwest area. Were proud of the class we have coming in and our depth within our roster will be a major strength for us this coming season."
