"I have had the time to develop my work ethic and gain experience and knowledge of the game I love to play." Ferguson said, "The main thing that I will miss here (Iowa Lakes) would have to be the great people, my peers and teammates, and the coaches that have invested in me."
After coming back from UCL (Tommy John) surgery in the summer of 2019, Logan Ferguson a 6'0", 230 lbs. left-handed pitcher from Idaho Falls, ID, has committed to Dakota State University in Madison, SD, following this spring season with Iowa Lakes Community College. Throughout his career here at Iowa Lakes, Ferguson has 26.1 innings pitched with an ERA of 5.47. His overall record at Iowa Lakes is 1-0 (W/L).
Coach Danny Acosta stated, "Logan has been one of the hardest workers since day one. He has shown the commitment you want from young athletes and the understanding that without it few opportunities can come." Acosta continued, "He is a great competitor on the mound and a leader in the dugout. When he is not on the field, he is pushing his peers to do better and work for everything they want. I believe Logan is going to great at the next level, we are proud of his commitment and wish the best for the rest of his career."
