Iowa Lakes Basketball player, Creighton Morisch has recentlysigned a letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic careers at The University of Sioux Falls. He will be studying Sports Management. USF is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Creighton had this to say about choosing USF "Very grateful to get the opportunity to play for coach Johnson and his staff. They treated me like family on my visit and I felt it was the perfect place for me. My family will also be able to support me and come to games with me staying close to home."

Creighton is from Spirit Lake, Iowa, where he graduated from Spirit Lake High school. While there, he averaged 18 PPG, 10 RPG, and 2 APG. Creighton spent a season playing for Morningside University after graduating from high school. He then transferred to Iowa Lakes where he was named 1st team All-Region 11 and finished 3rd in rebounds per game and total rebounds in the conference. He averaged 13.8 PPG, shot 56.3% FG, and grabbed 8.1 rebounds a game.

Coach Larson had this to say about Creighton, "Creighton was a big part of our success this season, he has improved tremendously since he arrived on campus. He works hard both on the floor as well as on his academics. I am really excited for Creighton and this opportunity."
