Burke Signs With North Dakota State

Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball player, Jeremiah Burke has recently signed to continue his athletic and academic careers at North Dakota State University.

He will be studying Business at the university located in Fargo, North Dakota.

Jeremiah had this to say about choosing North Dakota State University "I am blessed to be able to play the game I love at the highest collegiate level. NDSU is a great program that will allow me to grow on and off the court. Super excited to get down there and play in front of all the fans."

Jeremiah is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he graduated from St Francis High school. While there, he averaged 27 PPG, 19 RPG, and 2 APG.

Jeremiah spent two seasons playing for Iowa Lakes, in his last season, he was named ICCAC Player Of the Year, 1st team All-Region 11, and led the conference in rebounds per game and total rebounds. He averaged 14.8 points per game while shooting 53.9% from the floor and grabbing 9.8 rebounds per contest. He also made history grabbing 22 rebounds in a game which is the 2nd most ever in Iowa Lakes history.

Coach Larson had this to say about Jeremiah, "I am proud of Jeremiah's growth in his time at Iowa Lakes. He has matured both on the floor and off the floor which allowed him to have the year he had. Jeremiah has a bright future in basketball, and I am looking forward to seeing his development and where this game will take him."
