Estherville, Iowa – Iowa Lakes led 31–25 at halftime but couldn't hold off Iowa Western's second-half surge, falling 78–70 on Wednesday night.
The Lakers dominated the glass with 39 rebounds and scored 48 points in the paint, adding 17 second-chance points. However, struggles from three-point range (2-of-19) and the free-throw line (10-of-18) proved costly.
