The Iowa Lakes Community College Athletics Department announced hiring Emmetsburg, Iowa native Mike Myers as the new Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach starting February 1, 2023. Myers competed for the Lakers from August 2014 - May 2016. After graduating from Iowa Lakes, he transferred to Midland University to continue his collegiate golf career. After two years at Midland University, Myers obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing. 

2022-2023 Men's Team NJCAA National Qualifier  (Finished 13th)

2024-2025 Women's Team NJCAA National Qualifier (Finished 11th)

"Coaching golf has always been a dream of mine. The opportunity to give back to the golf program that provided me such a great experience is a blessing.
