The ICCAC released their men's soccer Player of the Week honors for this week with the Lakers placing both a player and a goalkeeper on the list. Freshmen, Bigirimana Omari and Ollie Harrison, were both awarded Player of the Week honors for their performance in both the shut-out win against #3 Marshalltown Community College and the 2-1 win against Hawkeye Community College. Bigirimana, also known as BIG, anchored the Lakers defense in both matches and was able to score his first goal of the season against Hawkeye. Ollie Harrison, who leads the conference in save percentage, kept a clean-sheet against Marshalltown and helped propel the Lakers to #18 in the nation by the NJCAA.
