For the second week in a row, an Iowa Lakes soccer player has earned Player of the Week honors by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. Rian Marques earned the honor after his two goal game against Indian Hills; his second of the match being the game winner in overtime. Marques, a freshman from Brazil, follows his Brazilian teammate, sophomore Gustavo Nasciemento, who earned the honor last week in his respective performance. The Lakers enjoyed their fifth consecutive win against Indian Hills which was topped off by, once again, receiving votes in the national poll. The Lakers look set to continue their difficult run of games by facing off against Iowa Central Community College today, at home.
