Iowa Lakes Community College Soccer player, Freddy Fragozo, will continue his student-athlete career at Division II powerhouse, Colorado Mesa University. Freddy Fragozo, a midfielder, appeared in a total of 28 games, starting 25, and registering 16 goals and six assists through his two years as a Laker. Freddy finished his sophomore year with 26 points, the second-most of any player on the team. Fragozo capped off his sophomore year by being named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region.
Fragozo returns to his home state and is adament excited to continue his soccer career while obtaining his bachelor's degree. "I felt welcomed from 'day one' even though I didn't know anyone from the team, they made me feel good about my decision and that's something that is going to help me succeed on the pitch and in the classroom," said Fragozo. Fragozo also thanked the Iowa Lakes coaching staff, faculty, and the Spencer, Iowa community who've helped him over the past two years.
