The Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer Program began its 2017 Spring Season with the Luther College Indoor Tournament. The Lakers, who joined the likes of Cornell College, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Luther College, and Beloit College, were able to finish in first place. The Lakers split themselves up in to three different teams for the event. The Grey Lakers found themselves crashing out of the tournament early in the knock-out phase while the Blue Lakers lost out in the semi-finals. However, it would prove to be the Yellow Lakers that were victorious over Luther College, courtesy of a game-winning goal by freshman, Antonio Hernandez. 

The Lakers now look towards a full month of training in March before closing out the spring season against Waldorf, Upper Iowa University, Midland University, Bellevue University, Morningside, and Briar Cliff in April.
