After two successful years at Iowa lakes Community College, Gustavo Nascimento will continue his collegiate career at NCAA Division I, Hofstra University. In his two years, Gustavo played in 29 games, started 26, and scored six goals while adding nine assists. His sophomore season concluded with being named First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Region, and Second Team All-Academic. Gustavo is extremely excited to continue his journey as a student-athlete at Hofstra University. "I am very honored to join such a prestigious program and I believe it is going to be a very challenging and tremendous opportunity in my life. I want to thank Iowa Lakes for such a wonderful experience and for helping me fulfill my dream".
