Brazilian native, Yago Ramos, accepted a scholarship to attend NAIA powerhouse, Bellevue University. Ramos appeared in 24 matches, starting in 21 of those, and scoring two goals while tabbing two assists during his time as a Laker. Ramos' most prolific moment came in the quarter finals of the 2016 Region IV Tournament in which he scored two goals in the quarter-finals against NIACC to earn his squad a place in the Final Four. Ramos finished of his sophomore year with an Honorable Mention Award as well as earning a spot on the Academic Second Team All-Region. Ramos plans on earning a bachelor's degree in International Business and Management while finding success on the soccer field.  "I am delighted to have earned such an amazing opportunity to become part of a brilliant program at Bellevue University.  I would also like to thank Iowa Lakes for such an amazing experience that they've provided me over the past two years".
