LAKERS SHUTOUT INDIAN HILLS 4-0, RAZ LEVY SCORES HAT TRICK

SPENCER- The #9 ILCC Men's Soccer Team hosted ICCAC rival Indian Hills CC in Spencer this Sunday afternoon. The Last meeting between the two resulted in a convincing 7-2 Laker win in Ottumwa.

The Lakers started off the game dominant but struggled to find the net early. They would eventually break the deadlock in the 32nd minute when freshmen defender Lewis Nohar picked out Sophomore Raz Levy's head from a great cross. It wouldn't take the man from Israel long to get his second goal only five minutes later Levy would test the keeper from distance and found the back of the Warrior net with a knuckling shot. Giving the Lakers the 2-0 lead going into halftime.

Just four minutes into the second half Levy would complete his hat trick with a great layoff from freshmen striker Matias Daniel. The Lakers would manage to score one more goal from freshmen Dylan Cody assisted by John Coronado. Freshmen keeper Dion Zhubi would earn another clean sheet for the Lakers.

The Lakers move to (7-2) on the season and will travel to Marshalltown, Iowa to take on the Marshalltown CC Tigers on Wednesday, May 5th at 1 pm.
