(SPENCER, IOWA) Iowa Lakes is proud to announce four players to the ICCAC Men's Soccer All-Region team for the 2022 season. The Lakers went 11-6 on the season while averaging 2.94 goals per game.
Sophomore Lewis Nohar was named First Team All-Region for his fantastic season. Lewis had six goals and six assists on the season, making him the most productive defender in the conference.
Sophomore Taariq Ganga was also named First Team All-Region as the only goalkeeper on the list for his outstanding efforts between the sticks. Ganga's 78 saves in 16 appearances with a 1.21 goals-against average made him the standout goalkeeper in the conference.
Sophomore Jason Dyer was named Honorable Mention All-Region for his productivity in front of goal. The striker scored 10 goals and assisted 11 in 16 games played.
Freshman Lewis Duncan was also named Honorable Mention All-Region. Duncan scored three goals and assisted ten in his debut season, making him the most influential midfielder in the conference.
The Lakers ended their season with an overall record of 11-6 and finished third in the conference with a record of 4-4.
