Iowa Lakes Community College secured a strong 2–0 victory over St. Clair County Community College on Sunday afternoon, powered by a second-half brace from forward Emmanuel Benazra.

After a tightly contested first half, the Lakers broke through in the 58th minute. Jugene Wessels initiated the attack and delivered a precise pass that found Benazra in stride for the opening goal.

Moments later, Benazra struck again. Jago Rafii threaded a well-timed ball through the SC4 back line, allowing Benazra to finish his second goal of the match and extend the Iowa Lakes lead to 2–0.

The win positions Iowa Lakes strongly in group play. The Lakers will return to the field Tuesday at 12:45 p.m., where they will take on Pima Community College. St. Clair County and Pima are set to play later today.
