Iowa Lakes defeated Ellsworth 85-66. The Lakers were led by Jaeda Whitner with 22 points and 7 assists. Rachel Breck added 18 points and 4 rebounds. Brielle Bartelt added 10 points.
Ellsworth was led by Alyssa Civitak with 15 points.
"Good team win tonight. We have a big stretch coming up with three road games. Will be a good challenge for our team. Excited to continue to go to work with this team," commented Coach Martin.
The Lakers are 14-8 on the season and 8-4 in conference play. The Lakers are back in action on Saturday, January 29th as they travel to Boone, IA to take on DMACC at 1:00pm. The Lakers return to play at home on Tuesday, February 8th vs Northeast at 5:30pm.
