Jaydan Nitchals – Iowa Lakes – Freshman - Forward

Iowa Lakes is on a roll after winning three games in a row last week, including upsetting the No. 5 team in the country. They started with a win over Ellsworth, then beat fifth-ranked Lake Land before dropping William Penn JV. In their win over Lake Land, Jaydan Nitchals broke out for the best game of her college career to date. She scored 17 points on 6 of 10 shooting to go with seven rebounds and six assists. For the week, Nitchals averaged 10.3 points, six rebounds and 5.6 assists – filling up the stat book. The Lakers are winners of five of their last six games and are receiving votes in the rankings after wins over Lake Land and NIACC. This week the look to keep it going against Marshalltown on Feb. 4.
