Makayla Holton - Iowa Lakes - Freshman - Guard

Iowa Lakes is one of the hottest teams in the country right now, winners of their last six games, and their last four conference games. Makayla Holton helped power the Lakers to home wins last week against NIACC (70-66) and DMACC (64-56). The freshman guard had 10 points, 4 assists and 3 steals against NIACC only to follow that up with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 5 steals against DMACC. Holton is top five in both steals (57) and assists (84) among all players in ICCAC Division II Women's Basketball. Northeast and Iowa Central await the Lakers this week.
