(Estherville, Iowa) Anthony Holden - Iowa Lakes - Sophomore - Guard
Iowa Lakes avoided being upset last week with a frantic win over Northeast in overtime. They followed that up with a convincing win over Iowa Central to improve to 12-2 in conference play and hold a two game lead with two games to go for the No. 1 seed. Sophomore Anthony Holden had back-to-back double figure scoring outputs including a season-high 25 points in that win at Northeast. He went 4 for 8 from three point range and a perfect 7 for 7 from the line to keep the game within reach down the stretch. Against the Tritons he had 11 points, but held one of the Triton's best scorers to 1 for 9 shooting and just 2 points.
