(Estherville, Iowa) Iowa Lakes Athletics had one women's basketball player named ICCAC Athlete of the Week. Zoey Wooten was named ICCAC Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

Iowa Lakes' Zoey Wooten absolutely filled the stat sheet this past week in a 94-51 win over Southeastern. She went 12 of 19 from the field and scored 29 points with five boards, five assists, five steals and a block. With zero turnovers in the game, Wooten also shot 3 of 4 from 3-point range, protecting the ball and scoring at a high level. A huge day for Wooten has Iowa Lakes sitting at 7-0 in conference play with an 11-3 overall record. So far this season, Wooten leads the conference in total steals with 53, averaging 3.8 steals per game through the first 14 games. The Lakers return home to Estherville for their next game, hosting Ellsworth Community College on Wednesday, January 14, at 5:30 p.m.
