The Lakers earned at large bid to the NJCAA National Tournament . The ladies will travel to Boone, Iowa on Monday to prepare for the four round tournament starting on Tuesday, May 13th at Cedar Pointe Golf Course.
The team made up of Abby Brooks (FR), Leah Becker (FR), Karli Fife (SO), Hayden Fenimore (FR), and Alyssa Schorg (FR), earned one of three at large bids for the 2025 National Tournament. Freshmen Abby Brooks and Leah Becker earned their way to the NJCAA National Tournament as individuals. After the district tournament Brooks placed 7th and Becker tied for 10th.
Coach Myers had this to say about Abby and Leah, "Abby and Leah played great the first day and had to ride the emotional/mental rollercoaster on the second day, knowing they were in contention individually. It's a brutal battle between the ears when you struggle to find a groove and try not to let it slip away. We need to roll into nationals with the underdog mindset without any expectations. If we play free and enjoy the experience, we could bring home some hardware!"
