The Iowa Lakes Women's Volleyball Team traveled to Cedar Rapids Iowa for their conference opener against #8 in the nation Kirkwood. Kirkwood took control of the match early winning the first two sets 25-10 and 25-11 before Iowa Lakes came out fighting in the 3rd until Kirkwood took a 4 point lead at 18-14 to swing momentum their way and finish the match 25-17. The Lakers were led offensively and defensively by RaeAhna Harmon who finished the match with 8 kills, 12 digs, and 2 blocks. Iowa Lakes will travel to Norfolk, NE this Friday and Saturday to take on Central, Southeast, Lake Region, and Fort Scott in the Northeast Community College Tournament.
