Morgan Griffin, a name synonymous with girls wrestling in Iowa, starts her second year at Iowa Lakes.

Morgan made history last year being the first athlete to win a match in program history when she earned a victory over Iowa Central in the Laker home gym. She was also the runner-up at the BVU open @ 170.

Griffin was a NJCAA national qualifier and a two-time ICCAC Athlete of the week in 2023.

Griffin was also awarded 1st team Academic All-Region Honors for the conference.

Morgan's High School accolades are endless, but include three state tournament appearances including a runner-up finish at 160 in 2021.

Morgan has also appeared in the Iowa Wrestle showcase "Night of Conflict" where she was victorious over Reagen Gallaway at 140.
