Iowa Lakes Women's Wrestling traveled to Forest City, IA. this weekend and had another phenomenal week of progress and placement. The Lakers boasted four placers on the week once again showing upper weight dominance within the division. Alexa Karch (2nd), Brooklyn Robinson (4th), Keyahna Phillips (4th), and Delmariea Joseph (5th) all worked their way into placement matches for the weekend very similarly to the previous weeks results.

Coach Muniz states "This team is dynamic, one week one lady leads the charge the next week it is someone else. That is what makes it fun for us, we never know who is going to be next up, because all these ladies are prepped to be that star."

following Coach Muniz's statements Assistant Coach Dalton Whitehall-Gilkes adds " Although the end result looked very similar to the previous week, what we saw differently at this tournament was all around program growth. Many of the girls that have been on the cusp of winning matches, or piecing together crucial aspects of their wrestling demonstrated not only their dedication to improving but are starting to showcase the skills that the previously mentioned dedication has developed thus far".
