197: Damien Spears
285: Phil Malone
Head Coach Corey Meyer is very excited for the weekend stating "This group carries something different — belief backed by results. This is the most complete lineup the program has put on the mat in a long time. From top to bottom, there are no holes, no weight classes we're just trying to "get through." Every spot is a weapon. It's also the best opportunity we've had to qualify our entire lineup for the national tournament in over a decade. The work has been done. The growth has happened. All semester long, this team has competed with edge, toughness, and consistency.
Now it comes down to showing up and doing it again when it matters most. Rankings won't get it done. Past results won't get it done. It will take hard wrestling, relentless effort, and the same competitive fire that's defined this group since day one.
The opportunity is in front of them. The standard is clear. It's time to go earn it."
Wrestlers who advance beyond the North Central District qualifier will earn a spot at the National Tournament held in Council Bluffs, IA March 6th & 7th.
