The Iowa Lakes women's soccer team ended their regular season October 16th with a record of 3-10. The number 3 seeded Lakers will now compete in the ICCAC semifinals at Schafer Stadium in Ottumwa, IA October 26th at 2:00 pm against the number 2 seeded Indian Hills Warriors.

Amy Boyle and Bruna Kruschewsky both have 4 goals on the season as top goal scorers. Laura Cardenas is a key player in the midfield.  Head Coach Abbey Miller said, "We are looking to play through her a lot and control the ball and game for us Tuesday."  Cardenas is cleared to played after breaking her wrist two weeks ago. 

The Lakers will be facing Indian Hills for the third time this season. Coach Miller says, "We are looking forward to the regional tournament. When post season starts all the records are 0-0 and it is a new season for all teams. The team has had a good week of practice leading up to the first round, showing up in the right mindset as individuals and as a team."

The winner of the semifinal game will play in the Region XI championship Saturday October 30th at the higher seed's field.
